These terms govern your use of MOGUL, operated by GoodFriends LLC. By creating an account or using MOGUL, you agree to them.
1. The product
MOGUL is an AI life compass for founders. It provides quizzes, planning tools, an AI advisor, business tools (idea validator, business builder, pitch deck, brand studio), workspace storage, and document signing. We may add, remove, or modify features without notice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure (use a unique strong password — we recommend a password manager).
- All activity that happens under your account.
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Providing accurate information at signup.
You may not share your account with others. One account per person. If you sign up on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use MOGUL to harm, harass, defraud, or violate the rights of others.
- Attempt to bypass our paywall (e.g. via direct API calls bypassing client-side gates), or share Pro access with non-paying users.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access MOGUL without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of MOGUL.
- Use the AI advisor to generate content that violates applicable laws (e.g. CSAM, defamation, malware, instructions for violence).
- Upload to your Workspace files that you don't own or have a license to use.
- Use MOGUL's signing flow for forged signatures or fraudulent documents.
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination, at our sole discretion.
4. Your content
Anything you create in MOGUL (notes, blueprints, brand kits, decks, signed documents) belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display your content as necessary to provide the product. You are responsible for ensuring your content doesn't violate anyone else's rights.
We may remove content we believe violates these terms or applicable law, and we'll attempt to notify you when we do.
5. Subscriptions and payments
- Free tier: limited features (e.g. 10 founder notes, capped Advisor messages, 1 saved pitch deck).
- Pro: $14.99/month or $99/year. Unlocks unlimited notes, voice advisor, and the full business tools suite.
- Elite: pricing as displayed on the upgrade page. Additional benefits as described.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You can cancel anytime via Settings → Manage Subscription → Stripe Customer Portal (web), or your platform's subscription settings (App Store / Play Store for mobile purchases).
Refunds: we offer pro-rata refunds for service outages exceeding 24 hours, and case-by-case refunds within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days no refunds. Apple / Google handle their own refund policies for mobile purchases.
Prices may change. We'll give you 30 days' notice before applying any price increase to your subscription.
6. AI disclaimers
MOGUL uses AI (Claude, GPT) to generate responses, suggestions, and content. AI output:
- Is not professional advice — not legal, medical, financial, or tax advice. Consult a licensed professional before acting on AI suggestions with real-world consequences.
- May be inaccurate. Verify before relying on it.
- Is not deterministic — the same prompt can produce different outputs.
You are responsible for reviewing AI output before sharing it, publishing it, or acting on it.
7. Intellectual property
MOGUL's software, design, branding, and original content (quiz copy, archetype descriptions, marketing copy) are owned by GoodFriends LLC. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. The MOGUL name and logo are trademarks of GoodFriends LLC.
8. Third-party services
MOGUL integrates with Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, Resend, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, PostHog, and Vercel. Use of those integrations is also governed by their respective terms. We're not responsible for their actions or downtime.
9. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or for legal/regulatory reasons. On termination, your access ends and we'll delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
MOGUL IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't warrant that MOGUL will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI output will meet your expectations.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL GOODFRIENDS LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF MOGUL. Our total liability for any claim related to MOGUL will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoodFriends LLC from any claim arising out of your violation of these terms, your content, or your misuse of MOGUL.
13. Governing law + arbitration
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in New Mexico under the rules of the American Arbitration Association — except that either party may bring a small-claims action where eligible. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration against us.
14. Changes to these terms
We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top + email you if the change is material. Continuing to use MOGUL after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, delete your account before the change takes effect.
